Read It and Today I Learned

Both of these shows were specifically created for social media. I created the motion graphics intros, produced the Today I Learned theme, and host all the episodes.

The target demographic for the show is Instagram users between the ages of 13 and 24 who like entertainment content. These are meant to be short blurbs that users can consume while browsing before bed.

Collaborate Ultra: Important Things to Know

I created this video during my time as the Media Production Specialist in the Office of Educational Development at UAMS. I took an existing tip sheet the Blackboard Team had already developed and used it as a script for a motion graphics video. I storyboarded, narrated, animated, and edited the video.

Perfectly Convenient

“Perfectly Convenient” is a short film written and directed by my brother, Walker Walthall. It was shot on location in Mountainburg and Camden, Arkansas with a full film crew.

I worked on set for both locations and edited the short film in its entirety.

Welcome Back

I developed this video from the ground up — I approached my boss during the summer about creating a video to send out to faculty at UAMS to remind them of our important services. I wrote the script and had it approved, then created a shot list for the video. I scheduled times with my coworkers to shoot scenes and edited the entire thing into a single work. It was a long process, but the end result was worth the effort I put in.

Bored Games // copacetic

Bored Games is a song I wrote for my band, copacetic. For this project, I combined my passion for music and my career in media to put together a music video. I wrote and did all the pre-production for the video, helped produce the music, and acted in the video.
